EGET FOUNDATION'S 7TH TRADITIONAL LAVENDER HARVEST FESTIVAL ATTRACTED GREAT INTEREST

The EGET Foundation provided enjoyable hours for participants with its festival, which has become a tradition and was held for the seventh time this year. The festival, which took place on August 12-13, 2023, at the EGET Foundation's 22,000 square meter truffle and lavender facility in Armutçuk, Ula, Muğla, was once again met with great interest from participants. The event, which is expanded in scope every year, included a wide variety of workshops for children and adults, and guests enjoyed the pleasure of harvesting lavender with their own hands. Guests also had the opportunity to observe the Perseid Meteor Shower, as it coincided with the same dates. A series of workshops, including Seed Ball Workshop, Movement Training and Coordination Skills Workshop, Composting Workshop for Plants with Kitchen Waste, Drama and Interactive Storytelling Workshop, Olive Oil Tasting Workshop, Essential Oil Extraction and Home Uses Workshop, Bee Identification and Natural Candle Workshop, Fabric and Egg Painting Workshop with Plants, Sky Atlas Making Workshop, Natural Pest Control Workshop, and Breathing and Yoga Workshop with Ahu, allowed guests to experience informative and peaceful moments in nature. The event concluded with a concert by Alp Özdoğan on Sunday, August 13th. We would like to thank Ms. Leyla Ersöz, Deputy Mayor of Menteşe Municipality, Mr. Bülent Karakuş, President of Muğla Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Hurşit Öztürk, President of the Commodity Exchange, Ms. Ebru Akın, Director of Parks and Gardens of Menteşe Municipality, and all our guests for attending our lavender festival.
